Sometime in December, a girl finally decided to write a blog that she hoped would stay with her for a long time. She knew that she wanted an actual website, but that would wait. She knew she wanted to name it BND Media - though, you can see that her blog has nothing to do with media so far. Not only wanting the name to stand for her initials, she searched for hours for words that could match up with her initials. In the end, she found Brand New Day. And so, BND was born from not just her name but from a Brand New Day. Very cheesy, but she never said she wasn't.
At first, BND was supposed to go into the media/entertainment aspect of blogging, but it just never there. Sure, blogging about entertainment is easily the most entertaining thing to write about, but in the end, there was no motivation to write about entertainment and celebrity gossip. Though BND Media stayed, the blog's name had then changed to Whimsic Writings. Every post is short and sweet so the reader will never be bored.
At first, there were posts about life and rants but now, there might just be posts about writing. Well, excerpts of my writing. It's something I always loved and whether I'm doing something with my life, I always come back to writing.

My name is Bianca and I'm a first year at the University of California, Irvine majoring in Film & Media Studies. I'm 18 year young, shy, city girl who cannot wait to get an apartment in Los Angeles. I'm terrible at writing about myself so why not just list some things about myself (if anyone cares).
